The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, on Friday, during a campaign rally at ward eight, ward 10, and Uselu market in Egor local government area of Edo State, has promised to kill dictatorship in the state.

Obaseki, who in an average tone, recounts his achievement as per the Uselu market which was sold and later recovered by his administration.

He stressed that his administration has been concerned about education in which they are trying their capacity in building more institutions.

In his words, “Democracy will continue beyond us, institutions will outlive us, that is why this election is about building institutions,” he said.

On his deputy’s part, Mr. Phillip Shaibu charged the voters that the state must focus more on institutions and not something irrelevant.

By a way of asserting, he said, “Obaseki is a man of mission and vision for the state.”
