Shaunae Miller-Uibo has delivered a storm again as she clocked a mind-blowing season’s best and world lead of 21.98s (+2.0m/s) in the first heat of the women’s 200m at the Back to Track Series in Clermont, having run a brilliant WL of 10.98s over 100m yesterday.
The Bahamian track and field queen, Miller-Uibo now owns the World Lead in the 100m, 200m, & 400m.
She finished ahead of a once more sharp hurdler, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn who clocked a big SB of 22.45s and Lynna Irby in 22.47s, her fastest time since 2018.
Quanera Hayes who won another heat in 22.80s (+1.5), placed 4th overall while Kyra Jefferson took 5th in 22.88s (+1.4).
Meanwhile, Olympic Champion, Elaine Thompson-Herah clocked a fast 10.73s (+3.0m/s) in the women’s 100m at the 3rd Velocity Fest Meet in Kingston, Jamaica, earning a sizeable win over Shashalee Forbes who placed 2nd in 11.05s, well ahead of India’s 3rd-placed Srabani Nanda in 11.51s.
