Adeyemi College of Education Yet to Re-open – Management College of Education Warri Suspends COVID-19 Levy

As schools prepare to fully reopen on the 12th of October after a long break due to the coronavirus, Adeyemi college of education has disclosed yesterday that it is not ready to reopen as it has not received any directive to do so from the government.
In a statement signed by the
Directorate of Information and Public relations of the school, Mrs. Olatuyi O.A, said that students should not resume unless the federal government orders the reopening of colleges of education.

Part of the statement reads in full: “All students are to keep off the college until the announcement of resumption of academic activities”
“The college will re-open once a directive from the Federal government is received”
“In the meantime, the college is aware that there will be a gubernatorial election in Ondo State on October 10, 2020. In view of this, the management is imploring all students wherever they are to be law-abiding and refrain from being used to perpetrate any violent action during the exercise, ” she said.

Meanwhile, College of education Warri has suspended the three thousand naira COVID-19 Protocol Committee levy, this is contained in the press release by the public relations officer of the institution, Omovusi Owarieta Enakarhire.
