590 Stranded Nigerians Return Home From UK

Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, via her Twitter on Tuesday has said that about 590 Nigerians who were stranded in the United Kingdom have returned home.
The need to evacuate the evacuees from the UK was due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The evacuees returned on two flights.
The first flight conveyed 261 evacuees and arrived at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja at 7 pm while the second flight conveyed 329 passengers and arrived at the Muritala Muhammad Airport, Lagos at 8 pm.

NIDCOM stressed that all evacuees who had already tested negative will go through a 14-days isolation upon their return in compliance with NCDC and PTF protocols.
